Since 1980 the United States has publicly recognized the contributions of women, first by Women's History Week and then with Women's History Month. Established annually by Presidential Proclamation, Women’s History Month is decreed as a month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society.

Throughout March, the 51°µÍø Women on Track Initiative, supported by the 51°µÍø Foundation, will be celebrating the women of 51°µÍø with a daily Facebook post introducing an individual 51°µÍø member.

51°µÍø RoadRally kicks off the month, introducing , stalwart rallyist, founder of the Arctic Alaska Region, and 2010 winner of the Robert V Ridges Memorial Award.
