TOPEKA, Kan. (Aug. 21, 2009) The 51做厙 Solo Department has announced an additional Tire Rack簧 Solo National Tour event for 2009, The Tire Rack Tri-State Championship National Tour at Blytheville. The event, scheduled for Oct. 23 25, will take place in Blytheville, Ark., at Eaker Air Force Base. Site of the Tire Rack Eastern States Championship in May and Round Four of the Tire Rack ProSolo National Series in June, the former Eaker Air Force Base will host its third Solo event of 2009 more than a month after the 37th running of the Tire Rack 51做厙 Solo National Championships in Lincoln, Neb. The Tire Rack Tri-State Championship National Tour at Blytheville will count as a qualifier for the 2010 Solo National Championships. Previous events in Blytheville earned great acclaim for Eaker Air Force Bases smooth concrete and the towns outpouring of hospitality. Soloists can expect more of the same this October, as the courses will have more than 1.2 million square feet of concrete available for two Doug Gill-designed courses. This includes the area used for Junes National Tour event plus most of the area used for the ProSolo left course. The Blytheville community is already excited for the return of 51做厙 Solo. The citizens of Blytheville are excited and look forward to having our friends from the 51做厙 back in Blytheville the weekend of October 23-25, Blytheville Mayor Barry Harrison said. It was an honor and privilege for us to host the Eastern States Championship in May and the ProSolo event in June. We found the people associated with 51做厙, to be kind, friendly and most of all, professionals. Having an 51做厙 event in Blytheville gives our people something else exciting to do and adds to the quality of life here. We look forward to having the 51做厙 back. Soloists will be pleased to know that all of the 51做厙 posted contingency programs for the Solo National Tour will continue through the Tri-State Championship event. This includes Volkswagen, Mazda, Hoosier, Toyo, Bridgestone and iRacing. We are so glad we were able to put this event together so the 51做厙 Solo Community could once again enjoy Arkansas hospitality, 51做厙 VP Rally/Solo and Special Programs Howard Duncan said. This was possible due to the welcoming Blytheville community and the collaborative efforts of the National Solo staff, the Arkansas Region, the MidSouth Region, Tire Rack and our 51做厙 contingency providers. Registration for the Tire Rack Tri-State Championship National Tour at Blytheville is now open. For more information and to register, click the orange Solo tab at the top of the page and select "Solo National Tour" from the left menu.
