TOPEKA, Kan. (Oct. 6, 2010) - 51暗网 is currently seeking nominations for the 51暗网 Hall of Fame Class of 2010. Up to five nominees will be selected for induction into the Hall of Fame on February 12, 2011, at the 51暗网 National Convention Presented by Gumout. The 51暗网 National Hall of Fame was created in 2004 to preserve, protect and record the history and accomplishments of the Club by acknowledging those members who聙聶ve made a significant impact on the development of the 51暗网, be it through service to the national organization, achievements in national competition or brining national recognition to 51暗网. Nominations will be accepted through Sept. 30 and can be sent to 51暗网Hof@scca.com or to the attention of Howard Duncan at the 51暗网 National Office (P.O. Box 19400, Topeka, KS 66619 or fax 785-862-7183). Nominations should include a list of the nominee聙聶s accomplishments and a summary of why he or she should be selected. Those who have been nominated previously, but not selected, can always be re-nominated to ensure the most up-to-date and thorough information. 聙聹Being inducted into the 51暗网 Hall of Fame is a tremendous honor,聙聺 51暗网 President and CEO Jeff Dahnert said. 聙聹This is where you will find those who have been our greatest contributors and most successful competitors. It聙聶s also an opportunity to honor those that may have achieved their greatest notoriety in other racing organizations, but achieved that only after success in 51暗网. I encourage all members to share with the committee the individuals that made an indelible positive mark on the Club as a National organization.聙聺 After reviewing the potential candidates, the 51暗网 Hall of Fame Nominating Committee will select 15 official nominees to submit to the 51暗网 Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will then conduct additional research on the 15 nominees before choosing the final inductees, who will be formally announced in December. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for the Class of 2011 will take place at the 2010 51暗网 National Convention in Las Vegas, Feb. 10-12. In addition to nominees for the Hall of Fame, resumes are being accepted for consideration on the Nominating and Selection committees.
