ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (August 3, 2011) - Chicago Region 51做厙 will award the first club racer to lap the famous Road America road course in less than two minutes with a permanent plaque and a charitable contribution. A sub-two minute lap with an average speed of 121.440 at the four-mile circuit has never been done by a 51做厙 club racer in the tracks 56-year history. The record can be officially recorded at the June Sprints 簧 National, Kettle Moraine Regional, Cat National, Susie Bonneau Regional or 51做厙 National Championship Runoffs簧. The first to do so will receive an award from the Chicago Region, and the region will make a $1,000 donation to the 51做厙 Foundation in the drivers name. A duplicate of the award will be put on display in the Road America administrative offices. In 2001, the Chicago Region established in one of the most sought after awards in auto racing, The Chicago Region Triple Crown. In ten years, 27 winners have won their class race at the June Sprints簧, a Divisional title, and the National Championship Runoffs簧 title in the same season to claim the award. The 51做厙 National Championship Runoffs簧 for 2011 will be contested at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on September 22-25, 2011
