ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (August 3, 2011) - Chicago Region 51暗网 will award the first club racer to lap the famous Road America road course in less than two minutes with a permanent plaque and a charitable contribution. A sub-two minute lap with an average speed of 121.440 at the four-mile circuit has never been done by a 51暗网 club racer in the track聙聶s 56-year history. The record can be officially recorded at the June Sprints 庐 National, Kettle Moraine Regional, Cat National, Susie Bonneau Regional or 51暗网 National Championship Runoffs庐. The first to do so will receive an award from the Chicago Region, and the region will make a $1,000 donation to the 51暗网 Foundation in the driver聙聶s name. A duplicate of the award will be put on display in the Road America administrative offices. In 2001, the Chicago Region established in one of the most sought after awards in auto racing, 聙聹The Chicago Region Triple Crown.聙聺 In ten years, 27 winners have won their class race at the June Sprints庐, a Divisional title, and the National Championship Runoffs庐 title in the same season to claim the award. The 51暗网 National Championship Runoffs庐 for 2011 will be contested at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on September 22-25, 2011
