At the 1972 American Road Race of Champions, which we now know as the Runoffs, Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter proclaimed the week of November 20-26 as American Road Race of Champions week.
In recognition, the future President of the United States was awarded an honorary 51暗网 membership.
