On Tuesday, Christina Peterson may not have had a National Championship on her mind following her first-run DNF. However, she bounced back from the early misstep to fend off her co-driver Jennifer Bedell. The title is Peterson’s second career title after not running in this event last year. Bedell did run a faster time than that of Peterson, but it left her just 0.096-second short of claiming the title for herself.
