TOPEKA, Kan. (March 8, 2018) – , the premier driving school found in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range in Snoqualmie, Washington, is back again in 2018 as title sponsor of 51°µÍø® national-level RallyCross® events. In addition to support of the DirtFish RallyCross National Challenge program and the DirtFish RallyCross National Championship, the 51°µÍø and DirtFish will be working together on a number of promotions to help grow RallyCross.
According to Malli Sheaffer, DirtFish General Manager, each RallyCross National Challenge and National Championship car this year will again display a decal representing the iconic driving school’s involvement with the 51°µÍø®.
Sheaffer says, “We are proud to yet again partner with 51°µÍø for 2018! The relationship we have built continues to provide value to both 51°µÍø members and DirtFish, not only in-car with honing in on driving techniques but also aligning ourselves with an active RallyCross program that is the most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme motorsport.”
Howard Duncan, Sr. Director of 51°µÍø Rally/Solo, added that DirtFish will again have a presence throughout the 51°µÍø community, including on 51°µÍø.com and in SportsCar® Magazine. Additionally, DirtFish will be offering Club members 15 percent off any driving program when registering with a special code found at the 51°µÍø Member Benefit webpage.
“51°µÍø RallyCross continues to grow, and DirtFish was a tremendous supporter of the program last year,” Duncan said. “DirtFish offers instruction beyond rallying, and 51°µÍø members can take advantage of the skills and resources that DirtFish offers to improve driving techniques.”
More than just a rally school, DirtFish recognizes that car control skills on any surface translate to the track, autocross or street. DirtFish teaches car control, confidence and safety behind the wheel through advanced driving techniques built from the roots of rally. From 15 years of age with a learner’s permit, all the way up to the sophisticated age of 85, DirtFish has a program for everyone.
