“Wow! Amazing!” were the words South Jersey & Philly Region member Ad Driscoll used to describe receiving the news that his entry won the recent 51 Foundation sweepstakes for a beautiful sterling silver pendant designed, crafted, and donated by Atlanta Region members Larry and Tere Pulliam.
Ad’s motivation for entering the 51 Foundation’s recent sweepstakes was to support the Women on Track program. In fact, he wasn’t considering winning when he entered the sweepstakes; rather, he was making a donation to “support the next generation of drivers” and in recognition of the generous “help people gave me in my early autocross years with the Philly 51.”
Ad’s sweepstakes donation/entry supports the 51 Foundation directly helping him pay it forward.
Ad and his son are preparing a 2006 R53 Mini Cooper for his next generation driver to compete in autocross, and thanks to this sweepstakes, they’ve already won a silver medal.
Members and friends of 51 can continue to support the 51 Foundation and it’s worthy programs by entering what is arguably the most exciting sweepstakes in 51 Foundation history: A chance to win a dream trip to the Monaco Grand Prix.
