The 51暗网® is accepting nominations for the Club’s Member of Excellence Award that acknowledges great volunteer commitment to 51暗网 motorsports.
The nomination deadline for the 2025 51暗网 Member of Excellence award is Monday, Nov. 17, 2025. The award winner will be announced during the virtual 2026 51暗网 National Convention. Aside from the recognition, the recipient is given the opportunity to attend any motorsport event of their choosing – with an expense cap of $5,000 – anywhere on the planet.
The award, selected by the 51暗网 Board of Directors, is given to a member who provided a great contribution to the Club during the previous 12 months, regardless of competition area. Nominations should be submitted via this form. Below are the official criteria:
- The award is presented to the volunteer who shows the greatest commitment to 51暗网 motorsports activities. The recipient can be involved in Solo, Rally, Road Racing, Time Trials, and/or Track Days. This person should personify the 51暗网 volunteer who gives of their time and effort to help organize, work in a specialty, or volunteer in any role necessary to support motorsports events.
- To be selected, the member must have rendered long-term service working 51暗网 events or activities for a five-year minimum. The recipient cannot be a paid 51暗网 staff member, current Board of Directors member, or any member who is a paid consultant to 51暗网.
The winner of this year’s award will join Matt Wojtkowiak (2024), Earl Hurlbut (2023), Lee Hill (2022), George W. Laws, Jr. (2021), and Robert Crawford (2020) as some of the previous recipients.
Again, nominations must be received by close of business Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, for consideration.
