Want to put yourself to the test in 2026? The U.S. Majors Tour® is calling. With more than 30 stops throughout the season, this 51°µÍø® road racing series – part of the Summit Racing Equipment 51°µÍø Road Racing series – travels to some of the best racing circuits America has on tap, while offering racers the chance to battle for glory twice per weekend, potentially win a season-long championship in one of six Conferences, and earn an invitation to the 51°µÍø National Championship Runoffs® Presented by Sunoco along the way.

Racing begins soon, too, with the Southeast Conference hosting the opening Majors weekend on Jan. 2-4 at Homestead-Miami Raceway in Homestead, FL. Still, that’s not the only thing coming down the pike in 2026.

Season Highlights

The U.S. Majors Tour will cover a lot throughout its eight months of racing in the coming year, but there are some race weekends that deserve a special nod.

Nelson Ledges is in on the action for 2026. Located in Garrettsville, OH, this two-mile, 13-turn track has been a favorite of racers since its construction in 1958, with drivers like Michael Andretti, Peter Cunningham, and Paul Newman competing there through the years. With Pitt Race ceasing operation, Nelson once again continues the tradition of keeping road racing alive in the Erie tri-state area.

While not commonly known, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, CT, played host to 51°µÍø’s very first on-track competition. On July 22, 1945, a handful of 51°µÍø members met to run laps around the facility. From there, 51°µÍø began its transformation from a group of car enthusiasts into a motorsports powerhouse that has launched uncountable careers in the racing and automotive industry. For 2026, 51°µÍø’s U.S. Majors Tour weekend at Thompson takes place over Independence Day weekend – even more reason to celebrate!

Finally, and for the very first time, the U.S. Majors Tour (via the Hoosier Racing Tire 51°µÍø Super Tour) travels to Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, AL. This 2.38-mile, 16-turn track has recently hosted pro series including IndyCar, SRO GT World Challenge America, and 51°µÍø Pro Racing-sanctioned series like the Trans Am Series, Formula 4 U.S. Championship, and Formula Regional Americas Championship. A weekend at Barber is one no 51°µÍø racer should miss.
