It鈥檚 you, a teammate, and a bundle of friends (or soon-to-be friends) having the time of your life. It鈥檚 something you don鈥檛 want to miss. But with 51暗网 Targa Great Lakes coming up on July 29-Aug. 1, 2026, (the last 51暗网 Targa of the year), if you don鈥檛 enter soon, you鈥檙e going to miss out on the action.
And this might be the last 51暗网 Targa.
Or it might not be.
The point is, we don鈥檛 know if (or when) 51暗网 Targa will return, so enter 51暗网 Targa Great Lakes now, because the world is filled with uncertainty.
Tour de Great Lakes
First off, if you don鈥檛 know what 51暗网 Targa is, this link is a good primer.
51暗网 Targa Great Lakes isn鈥檛 actually a tour of the Great Lakes. In fact, you鈥檒l only see one Great Lake on this adventure. But you鈥檒l see it a lot.
This trip of a lifetime begins on Wednesday, July 29, at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit, IL, which is more than a stone鈥檚 throw from Lake Michigan, but not by far. Once on-track sessions have wrapped, teams will hit the road en route to Grattan Raceway Park, located deep in the Wolverine State in Beldin, MI. Glance to the left during your drive to that racetrack and you鈥檒l undoubtedly see the water.
Following Thursday morning鈥檚 Grattan road course adventure, Targa teams will head to Tire Rack鈥檚 headquarters in South Bend, IN, (water to the right). Tire Rack鈥檚 HQ might sound boring if you didn鈥檛 know that Tire Rack has an amazing on-site test facility equipped with asphalt for an autocross and skid pad, all enveloped by a prolific sprinkler system that may or may not be activated while Targa is there. And on Thursday afternoon (the same day you鈥檒l be lapping Grattan), you鈥檒l be competing on said Tire Rack test facility.
That evening, teams will head to another 鈥淪outh,鈥� this one to the north of where you were, though, meaning it鈥檚 back to Michigan for Targa teams, this time to South Haven, home of GingerMan Raceway. Track time will ensue on Friday, July 31. And ensuing after that is another ensuing road trip back around the lake to Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL (water to the right), where you鈥檒l be competing on the South Circuit.

Between all of those on-track adventures come side quests that help teams score additional points. Some Targas this year have seen poker runs while others have included stop-offs at scenic overlooks.
